A properly written open-sourced client would make it easier to handle the inevitable conversion to a VR version...
Have observed the same bug on 64-bit Linux, client version 0.1.9. I don't ever seem to see anything under 'other'.
Have observed this same bug on 0.1.9

Have reproduced this bug, using the 0.1.9 client on 64-bit Linux. Had to teleport to get out of the wall.

Do you have empty spaces in your bag, or is it full?
Have also observed this behaviour. Linux build 0.1.9.

The Linux client works for me, though I'm running Gentoo.
This has happened to me at least once (64-bit Linux, version 0.1.8). I noticed that the number of the instance I was in (under the minimap) changed in the process; the instance I had been in was no longer there, and I appeared to have been moved to a new instance.
Have noticed this too, on 64-bit Linux. Incidentally, if I take enough damage to faint, then I see the "You have fainted" message in the chat window instantly, and I am no longer able to use my spells (with error message Not Enough Energy) but I am still able to run around and pick up stuff (like mushrooms/gems) until my health bar catches up.

Have recently noticed the same on a bridge in the Heartlands (from the Ponydale portal, take the road to Cloudopolis; on crossing the first bridge, turn around, and you'll see it's not quite flush with the ground)

This also happens in the central fountain in Cantermore in the 0.1.6 build.

Apologies, I should have mentioned in the original post. The hornet in question was located in the Evershade, in the swarm that lies between the Ponydale portal and the mushrooms (I'm not sure if there are other hornets in the Evershade).

Huh. Now that I'm wearing socks, my armour is sometimes visible and sometimes not. (It was visible in Cloudopolis, then not visible later in Cantermore...)
Issue persists in 0.1.4, Linux, 64-bit.

Have managed to reproduce this bug on client version 1.4, running on 64-bit Linux. It appears to affect multiple locations throughout Heartlands rivers (some locations I cannot teleport to, but when I do teleport, I end up underwater).
My foal put on socks, and they were not visible, as per this bug. I then moved from Cantermore to the Heartlands (via the portal) - on arrival in the Heartlands, none of my foal's armour was visible!

Bug seems to persist in version 1.4. Some further notes: after I've got the 'fainted' message in chat, I cannot use any spells (the error message states that I am out of energy). my health bar continually drops as if I am being attacked, and only once it hits zero does my character actually collapse (note that the original message in the chat happens well before my health bar hits zero on my client)

Have noticed a similar issue on 64-bit Linux - if I change the video settings, then click 'cancel', it reverts to factory default settings instead of last-known-good configuration.

I threw in a couple of paragraph breaks to see if that helps. I can't see why it would not display all of the dialogue, however.

Update: Afterwards, I then went and completed the Fission Mailed quest. The game recognised that I had already spoken to Loadsa and got his side of the story (although I'd done that before getting the quest at all).
This bug is still present in Version 1.4 (on 64-bit Linux). Going to Sweet Apple to return Spud's tax forms to him and then returning to Sweet Apple seems to have caused the quest marker to vanish, though.

Definitely been fixed, thanks!
Using certain skills while in the water (Poseys And Prickleys, for example) triggers the same thing. (Version 1.4, Linux, 64-bit)
I've noticed something similar, that sometimes I can teleport and sometimes I can't. Didn't realise it was tied to location, though.

Pet bunnies will also do this in other rivers. (Seen on 64-bit Linux, game client 1.4)
I found Polly Poppet, but the hay is still missing.
...didn't find it when I searched earlier, but it turns out this is a duplicate of http://phabricator.legendsofequestria.com/T1058
Same issue, Gentoo Linux, 64-bit

Same issue, 64-bit Linux, version 1.4. (Also: bug is duplicated to some degree in http://phabricator.legendsofequestria.com/T381, http://phabricator.legendsofequestria.com/T722 and http://phabricator.legendsofequestria.com/T241)
Have also come across this issue, in 0.1.4. Talked to Tenseven, picked mushrooms; talked to Tenseven, who told me to pound hornets five times. Killed five hornets with bubble barrage, returned to Tenseven, who told me I hadn't done enough yet. Checked the quest book, saw that it specified using the Ground Pound skill five times instead. Went back and used Ground Pound five times (six times actually, on two hornets). Returned to Tenseven and he wouldn't talk to me.
I have tracked down a solution!

After a bit of googling, I found a way to change the behaviour of this bug. If I run the game with LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 set (as recommended at https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=4805.195 for a different game) then:
Bug persists in version 1.4.

I'm happy to report that, as of version 1.3.1, this particular problem seems to have vanished.

Same issue, 64-bit Linux
I've just had the same problem, on 64-bit Linux. I'm not sure what triggers it, but in my case it happened shortly after moving from Cloudopolis to Cantermore.
If you get it just right, it's currently possible to stand on the rainbowfall:

The model also vanishes from the inventory window.
