Item coloring does not like certain colors
Open, LowPublic

What is happening:
When entering a color using a hex value, it might take a couple of tries to get the correct color to stick.
This can also happen with some pony codes, and will result in a slightly different code if exported.

What should be happening:
A valid hex code should be accepted with no changes

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open the coloring menu of a colorable item
  2. Paste this hex in '8C0D97'. It will shift to '8B0C97' after clicking out of the entry box
  3. Paste '8C0D97' in again. The value will stick this time

Game client version:

Reproduced by:
Unknown, but I have heard others mention it

Reproduced on:
Linux 64bit - Ubuntu 16.04

Is this happening with two color coloring or with single color as well?

This may also depend on where you are clicking after entering the code.

The 1/256th difference is way too small to see so this is very low priority.

I have seen this happen many times and it is a pretty annoying glitch because it causes colored items to not stack even if they look the same. I have to keep checking the color codes to realize they don't match up.

It affects any sort of coloring. Clicking doesn't seem to have any affect on it, as hitting enter to set the color does the same thing. Ponycode importing is also affected by this bug.
